This 1875 heritage homestead is in the eastern region of beautiful Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. The stone and brick home has been lovingly maintained and boasts well-kept outbuildings.

You can spread out in the 103 acres of mixed hardwood and softwood forests, and ample pastures. Take a stroll along the cut pathways, and visit your very own pond and swift-running stream. This kind of property provides natural wildlife habitat, so you can hone up on your bird watching skills, too.

You can have it all with easy access to local conveniences, or a quick trip down to the city by highways #7 and #115.

Omemee is Lady Eaton’s home town. She grew up on King Street at a house called Tully Lark. Later, she built the church manse in the Arts and Crafts style across the street from her childhood home in memory of her father. Her love of this style is also evident in the Emily Cemetery where she commissioned the beautiful chapel and stone entrance structures, as well.

One street south of Hwy #7, the waterfront is close, clean and well-kept. It makes for great swimming and boating.
